The project

A long, low summer house at the edge of a beech wood, with one window turned toward the chalk cliffs.

The house is one room deep, so every room gets light from two sides. Its roof follows the 1:3 pitch of the farm buildings nearby.

The sauna stands on its own, twenty steps away. Walking there in December is the point.
